The Faribault Area Senior Center is a non-profit organization which provides a variety of programs and services for adults 50 and over living in the Faribault area. It is our mission to promote the physical, emotional, intellectual, economic and social well being of older adults and encourage their participation in all aspects of community life in Faribault and the surrounding area.
We encourage you to visit our center in person or call us for additional information on the work that we do.
FASC on FCTV
Each month the Faribault Area Senior Center is on FCTV doing an informational piece on programs and services that appeal to Seniors in Faribault.
The AARP Tax-Aide program returns to the Faribault Senior Center in February! This is a free service that assists local taxpayers in filing their 2016 tax returns (both Federal and state) along with their Minnesota rent and property tax credits.
The program will open on Friday, February 10th, and remain open each Friday through April 14th. The Minnesota Property Tax Day will be scheduled for mid-April (date to be announced soon). As in the past, please call the Senior Center receptionist at 332-7357 beginning on Monday, Jan. 16th at 9am to schedule an appointment.
